ECHO Food Security Disaster Risk Reduction Newsletter
New innovative Disaster Risk Reduction(DRR) Food Security projects funded by the European Commission Humanitarian Aid department (ECHO) were launched in three countries in September 2010.The overall objective of the one year projects is to test different models in food security DRR and come up with evidence on their benefits to reduce people’s risk to food insecurity and disaster caused by floods and cyclones. The monthly newsletters aim to share information on activities, lessons learned and information of interest to ECHO/DIPHECO project partners and stakeholders.
